What Excites INTJ : 9 Things That Excite INTJ - REAL INTJs Know

In today's video, I go into detail on what excites INTJ. These top 9 things that excite an INTJ personality have a lot to do with their cognitive function, introverted intuition.

We know INTJs are pretty rare. One of the rarest among all of the 16 personality types, actually. That’s why, if you have an INTJ friend or an INTJ partner, you might be asking yourself one question a lot. What actually makes them happy or excited since they don’t show their emotions like most other people.

It’s okay that you’re confused because of course, they’re so rare and selective it’s hard to get to know an INTJ. In fact, that’s the main reason that INTJs themselves feel so misunderstood too. But, don’t worry, because that’s what this video is for. Today, I’m talking about the top 9 things that excite an INTJ.

Success For Breakfast was created to be a channel that makes simple-to-follow videos giving you the tools to live your best life and help in your personal growth journey. There are a lot of little pieces that add up to the bigger “whole” picture of what you envision for your best life and what success looks like for you - so I am creating videos hitting on all of those subjects. From financial tips, relationships, and happiness to psychological tips, personal development, and even productivity advice. Brain food to give you the best possible chance to level up and love your life in all areas.

We all know that a strong mindset and good mental health is the key to success, and to taking control of your life, but there are many different ways to get there. It is not just motivation and affirmations, although those are important. For me, it was also about psychology, understanding myself, and knowing why I did things a certain way. It was also about meditating and learning about manifesting and the law of attraction, and of course how to be and stay motivated.

I hope you enjoy my channel and the videos but more importantly, find things that you can take action on and level up your life!

Female INTJ here. When I was young, I thought that I was weird or not right. Now with the concept of the personality types and the INTJ being described as rare and unique, it gives me a much more positive feeling about my personality. Thank you.

I literally never get bored. There is always some important idea waiting to be processed during idle time.

INTJ female only child here. When I went to birthday parties as a kid, I would skip the party and went to look at what books were in the house. Sometimes I would find a grandparent and have discussions with them about their history. Or spend time with the family pet. I kept getting invited to parties though, yay more books!

I don't like reading novel or romantic stories however I get indulged in reading articles about human behavior, psychology and philosophy. I don't know, I just feel like the need to understand what are people thinking and the whyness and howness of almost everything.

Spot on!! I find reading novels difficult as I space out a lot and have to read the same sentence multiple times...then I get frustrated and don't finish the book. I prefer audio books.

When I was a teenager, very insecure, terrible at sports, I was quiet most of the time. I hid behind my long hair, hunched over clutching my books to my chest, I felt like I was invisible and thought that nobody at school ever noticed me. But in English class, I came alive. I didn't do homework, but I had plenty to say when discussing books or writing essays in class, and when we read Pygmalion aloud, I got the part of Eliza Dolittle and loved doing the Cockney accent and putting emotion into the part. All the other students looked at me like they thought I was a weirdo. Eventually I got discouraged at their tepidness and stopped doing the accent near the end of the play, but my efforts up until then got me an A.

I went into fostercare when I was 15, finally was allowed to wear makeup and short skirts, got my hair cut short, and then other kids noticed me and thought I was stuck up. A girl who usually called me "beaver face" because of my teeth, told me that some other girl said I probably thought I had a good figure. I was surprised; I hadn't even noticed my figure. My guidance counsellor said that the other students perceived me as confident. I was shocked. Regardless of how my looks and posture improved, I still felt like jelly on the inside, but my shyness was interpreted as being aloof and unapproachable. Guys never asked me for a date when I went to school, even though I crushed on some of them. If the ones I thought were cool had talked to me, I would have been tongue-tied and wanted the floor to swallow me up.

I transferred to another school in Grade 10 and met up again with some boys who were nasty to me in Grade 6 because I wasn't the sort to fight back. They used to call me names, one of which was bucktooth, so I disciplined myself to close my lips and breathe through my nose like normal people. Those boys tried to taunt me again, but I ignored them, and then they wondered if I was the same person they picked on in Grade 6. Now they wanted to get to know me, when I was cute-looking. Too late, suckers. I talked to a male friend about this experience. He said I needed to forgive them. Sure, I forgive them, but I'm never going to date anyone who used to call me "fleabag." Lol!

You forgot the MOST important thing which excites INTJs: TRAVELLING!!!! Not in groups, not organized, but ALONE.

Clicked on this video with the idea that I, as an INTJ am not that predictable. First thing mentioned was philosophy. Paused the video, and took a look around my room- littered with quotes by FN and Jung. All I could think was

"Damn, he got me."

I’m a INTJ- A, Female. Definitely agree with 8.5/9. #5 Art, not so much as an adult, maybe when I was young. #8 Reading, I have come to conclusion that Audiobooks should be part of this. Especially when I’m driving or whenever I don’t have the time to just sit down and read. For me, watching Movies with purpose, not so much for entertainment, should be on this list. I find Movies gives me an insight into others POV and a satisfying result on how other’s deals with situations. I love to forecast the ending and imagine how I can change it to make it more realistic if it was me in that situation. Dreaming/daydreaming, is another one. I love to remember what I dreamed, then continue daydreaming about it when I wake up, until the result fit my expectation. Others have commented, traveling. 100% agree!

Female INTJ here. I agree with pretty much everything. It is interesting about reading. I have never enjoyed fiction much. I always seem to read non-fiction because they offer something real I can learn from. Love nature, express my artistic expressions in photography. It is the perfect INTJ artform as you get to learn the workings of a camera, and at the same time you can be creative in the production of something pleasing to the eye.

INTJ fem here. Everything is spot on (even painting), except for cleaning my surroundings. I procrastinate big time when it comes to chores like cleaning up my house, windows, car, laundry, and doing the paperwork. Because I live in my head where I generally have the order that I need.

Solitude. Every 2 to 3 months, I block off a "Hermit Week" where nothing is scheduled. Keeps me sane.

I nodded so excitedly when you mentioned reading and philosophy it would've exceeded 8 on the ritcher scale!
