In this example we take up a Russian Math Olympiad question.

when you solved for s, you should have written it as two separate equations since instead of using the plus or minus. if you use the plus or minus then either all of the signs inside the radical are negative or positive when they can be combinations of negative and positive(i.e. a negative in the outside and a positive on the inside). Other than that really good job! I tried solving it for a while but couldn’t figure it out.
