I never used this UDIMs workflow. I just recently was being interested in it, for more practical texturing, atleast i thought so, in Substance. But, doesn't this mean that you will later have to use more textures and then increase the render time because more textures loads more memory and is slower to render? What i mean is, and if this is correct, if you would do everything on 1 uv tile, without this multiple udims, you would just use 1 texture for that tile, right? But if we have multiple, like 5-10-15 tiles...you would have more texture tiles later, and given that, you would increase the render time by a heavy time? Does this rings any reason to this topic :) ? Very good content, thanks for that.
