If you have an issue bring in maps like me,
Try renaming the maps in the right order. file_name.1001 and filename.1002 and etc etc.
This works with Zbrush maps.
This might be a no brainer but it took me a sec LOL

Hoping to be able to rasterize layers soon to paint/ smudge smart masks and imported bitmaps. This is a mind-blowing update though!

Is there someone who can help me? I generated curvature and normal maps in zbrush. But When I export them to substance painter. They are only exported separately not as a sequence as Udim to be able to use as this video mentioned.. It is a character with 4 parts. Head, legs, arms and body with 4 udim tiles.

Hi,
UDIM support is available from which version of SP?

vimalrajravichandran

Superb, so it auto detects if it's a UDIM from the naming convention and from model.

What type of model files are used in substance painter. .obj or maya or what?

davidgsebastian

Do the Maps need to have a specific naming?

So how do you... what is the button to press, on that weird skip on 0:23

This doesn't explain how to properly import an object with udims. It assumes that much has been done correctly. Major flaw of tutorial.

Not friendly at all. No context. Not for beginners.
