Gears 2 was my shit. I hope it's true. Although I feel as if it's a bit too early for a remaster. But I can see a remaster this year and gears 5 2019.

About a 50/50 chance maybe. They teased the Gow 1 UE beta kind of like this and nobody thought it was true... Then BOOM E3 announced the Gow UE beta! So I hope it’s true. Nice video and new sub for sure!

Pretty sure Gears 2 and 3 will both eventually get remade. But I think the focus for coalition is Gears5 Any remake will be done most likely by splash damage again. They could do it this year E3 will be Gears5 teased and Gears2UE just like when Gears4 got announced.

Fingers crossed everyone! The scale of Gears 2 was massive and its my favourite campaign of the franchise! Breaching the Hollow, sinking cities, giant worm, sinking Jacinto, there was so much action in the campaign!!

EDIT: Even if this is fake, I still hope to see Gears 2 UE at this year's E3!!

Well, the best indicator would be sales. So you had gears1 with 6 million units sold gears 2 with 5 million and gear 3 with 6 million. Epic stated they basically broke even with developement costs on gears 3. Gears UE sold 3.5 million and gears 4 3.3 million. Now what type of profit margin did the coalition make? IDK, but that gears 4 number was soft. I think it would be great but these blockbuster games are being undercut by games like fortnite.

i'd have to say it's fake. lots of spelling mistakes. 1:26 shows 'exclusive' & 'closed' spelled wrong. at 1:33 'story' & 'gears' of war 2 (in the same line) have errors.

About the remaster for previous title i like the idea of campaign remaster, that is cool and is nice to play all gears campaigns remastered with today xboxes (even tho i didn't even play the gow4 campaign still).
I've a different idea for versus. It does not makes sense to me splitting the population on 3 or 4 title with a couple of them being from ages agò (> 10 years). Is similar to comp/core split in gow4.
If TC has resources those have to be pushed on gow4 support and on a great gow5. I still think that ppl that play gow2 are a minority and they do like the game because they played when they were young and can effort 10 hrs a day without problems and thoughtless in gaming :D.
Gow4 is better in any aspect and i would play gow2 just as a retro-gaming experience.
That said neither gow2 or gow4 are perfect and i still prefer gow4 imperfections rather than gow2.

Definitely a fake image, but I’m down for a GoW2 remaster. It’s got a lot of fan love going and doing it is only gonna bring new people into the franchise, if they released that then they can delay Gears 5 and work on that game. Not sure if they’ll go through with it but hey. Maybe they’ll announce something at E3.

Also ayyy, got my 360 backwards compatibility to work again, so if you ever need another man for a squad on some Gears 2 in the future give me a shout. If the game is still populated😂
