Is there a video on solving Parabolic PDEs using Implicit Method?

Do you have a video for finite difference approximation of 2 D heat equation for a disc in polar coordinates? Especially about handling the 1/r at the origin?

Im just at calculus 1 in school but i find this very interesting. I tried to model the temperature distribution in a concrete wall in a house.
So basically i wanted the inside temperature to decrease exponentially from 25 to 15 degrees in 1h and then to be fixed at 15 degrees after that time. The outside temperature is 2 degrees.
Can i then have a boundary condition like u(0, t)=2+(25-2)*e^-st (newtons law of cooling) for t<=3600s and then u(0, t)=15 for t>3600s.

( u(L, t)=2 for the other boundary)

why the value of Lamda is always same with the change of t?

Why you have taken the value of j = 0 for t=3s when it should be j=1 bcoz
t=0s, j=0
t=3s, j=1
t=6s, j=2
t=9s, j=3
