I want to know more about the Connection-specific DNS Suffix field. In your case, it was "home.arpa", but it was blank for me. And how could your Windows 10 machine get ip address when there was no DHCP enabled in VMnet2

This was excellent but the music choice could be irritating to listen to. Sometimes my virtual pfsense Mc picks up the WAN up address and sometimes it doesn’t. So I will try connecting it directly to my NUC! Trying to also install snort. Thanks!

i cant seem to access the pfsense web GUI eventhough the pfsense LAN and windows network adapter is set to same vmnet2(host-only) is this because host-only does not allow internet access? But why is it that you are able to access it?
