Also, Lute possibly hates Vaggie so much because look what Adam said about Vaggie! Lute had competition as best exorcist. Vaggie was one of Adam's favourites at one point, and Lute may not have been able to handle it. Cults often have such power games, don't they? That and everything else, of course.

Says something about the strength of the characterization in hazbin hotel in that Georgia is able to extract so much from even a supporting character

Honestly, I feel like Lute may had also held a very VERY deep vendetta against Vaggie. When Adam told Vags she was named after the best thing that ever happened to him along with mentioning her being 'One of his best girls.', Lute gave off several indications of hatred as if Adam had unknowingly reopened a wound for her. Something tells me that Lute held a way deeper fondness for Adam but he always kept his eyes on Vaggie instead which in turn caused Lute to herald a rivalry against her. Then during the extermination where Vaggie didn't wish to murder a way younger soul than the rest, Lute sought it as an opportunity to finally outdo vaggie in what she believed was a righteous way... but in actuality, was probably the WORST mistake she had ever done.

In the end, Karma finally knocked her right where the sun don't shine by having not only the thing she wanted die right in front of her, but also losing a part of herself physically in the process just like Vaggie did. Quite the poetic justice.

I love when people complain about weak characters. They say things like, "This is contradictory, " "Why would they do that?" or "Why'd they say this?" and then I go to this channel with Georgia explaining exactly why in a way that is cohesive and makes sense.

"If angels don't make mistakes, then what happened with Lucifer? What happened with Lilith?" EXACTLY

“Part of his frontal lobe is not fully developed for Adam.”
I choked on my dinner hearing that. Quite possibly one of the best ways to sum him up.

Another thing i want to say about Lute is just how bloodthirsty she seems to be. I mean, when Adam and Lute discover the dead exorcist. Lute says they should just go down there and kill ALL of them.

If Lute really believed angels could do no wrong, she wouldn't have attacked Vaggie.

Lute’s VA posted on Twitter hinting she’s possibly recording an “angry” song for Lute for season 2 (she’s going full vengeance)

Lute herself is definitely more of a threat than Adam. He was more playful and petty in dealing with his enemies but SHE is pure hate and rage. For her there’s no holding back or negotiating it’s pure bloodlust that’s only been increased with his death (and the deaths of the other exterminators)

I wouldn’t be surprised if she goes so far in her hate that she starts killing others of her own kind if they even show the slightest hint of dissent of mercy (becoming the monster she always saw the other side as)

I am sure Lute will make us wish to have Adam back...
Adam might have been powerful, but he was also a self absorbed child. I think Lute might be below him in shere power, but she appears to be a cold strategic character...

It wasn't just an arm she ripped off, a wing was seriously damaged when she pulled herself free, too.

Lute is a surprisingly complex villain and I love it.

I like that Lute is more complex then she originally seemed

I am positively surprised how well side characters with only a few scenes are fleshed out in Hazbin Hotel

Easily your best cosplay yet. I love that you're getting so much use out of those beautiful wings. And the horns look so realistic. It was really interesting diving into why Lute would not only follow someone like Adam, but really care about him.

This sounds a lot like some organizations and political groups in several countries. Never doubting, never questioning, and silencing anyone who speaks against them with threats of cancelation.

I hope in season 2 they acknowledge how messed up the exorcist system was so everyone will be nicer to Vaggie. Escaping cults is hard

"We hear people often even parroting words that they don't even know what they mean, or they don't understand them, or they don't understand why."

Never have I heard the Internet summed up in a better way.

Lute's loyalty is to Adam, not Heaven. That is a huge difference.
