This is the only Poppy Playtime animation that gave a lot of emotions in addition to getting a lot into the perspective of the characters. It is a very great work of art.

these two never deserved to be in situation like that one...
they never deserved to be manipulated by the others (catnap being manipulated by the prototype)
they never deserved to be predator and prey (the thing that happened in the game between dogday and catnap)
they never deserved to have all this suffering...

catnap just being misguided by some mf that was trying to adjust his own definition of the freedom
and dogday was trying just to be the kindest angel i've ever seen and it makes so much cry 😭

i love the smiling critters so much, i wanna hug all them together and i just believe that they are all now in the heaven having ice cream together

also i would love to say that the animation is so preciously done
i liked the artstyle of yours and DAMN!
THESE FRAMES ARE JUST AMAZING I CAN'T DESCRIBE IT BUT
these transitions between kind-hearted smiling critters to "death smiling critters" are so incredible (i mean in compositing)
moreover, the song is so fine with the animation, making it in all specters better: giving a vibe of charming and the awareness in the same time is magnificent

ngl i rewatched it like 5 times and this scene 1:20 just made me cry every time

This is seriously a beautiful animation, I loved how Catnap and Dogday hugged at the end. It's sad to know that Catnap was corrupted by his faith within the prototype that it interfered with their friendship and led to Catnap brutally hurting him and cutting his legs off.

I pray that by some miracle that a show of these guys just being friends in their own happy world will be made some day. Imagine it starting off pretty much like a regular kids cartoon, but slowly getting more and more unsetteling, especially with catnap. What if he kept the prototype a secret? Having some horror elements referencing to the original game but having a happy ending with everyone being alive and well at the end would be so wholesome TT💖💖
