first impressions true true... but the assessment is longer than 7 seconds, its the first minute first hour, the first day you meet someone. the first week.
not saying the first seconds are not important, they are very important.
I agree first impressions can make or break you, bring your best
whether its an introduction to a person you like or a job interview... first impressions are paramount

Little tip if someone is new in your class: simply invite them over to sit with you and start a conversation. One of my best friends was new this year and she was shy and tbh I was too but just looking confident was more than enough to form a bond.
