been doing a lot of kitchen/bathroom renos this past couple of years, tail piece 99 percent of the time is short, I always stock up on a 6 inch extender, this current job needed a 12 inch so now I stock up on those too

Are the plastic tailpieces and p trap underneath the sink universal? Will an extension work for any tailpiece?

In my state you cant use a slip nut past the seal of the trap, personally i like this because it forces you to hard pipe sinks, i hate those little plastic tubular traps.

None of my P traps have rubber gaskets, here in El Paso, is this normal?

I got one of those tools, it's different though because it's mine.

It's not going to ever leak without supply lines not hooked up!!!

I always wondered how plumbuses are made

If the plumber knew what he was doing you wouldn't need that and would have more cabinet space

Wow as a oder control tech at a feminine hygiene test facility I have always installed my slip nut bevel downwind of 6 inch extension tube properly inserted into the waste tube.

I like to use the crap plastic gaskets the kit contains. 😂

That's no accident the manufacturers do that so you have to buy additional parts to complete your job😊

Pex through the floor. Really. It kinda irritates me that people think this is plumbing. It's what a hole owner might do with out training. Pex is a failed system . I've only been plumbing since 1985

Amazing how he managed to do all of this without an excessive amount of glue. Somehow my plumbers have never figured that out and I end up having to cut out whole assemblies anytime I need to change something

Or you just use regular old copper cutters to cut the tailpiece to match the ridiculous Chinese p-trap you have... For the love of God at least you have less things that can leak....
