Perfectly Inelastic Collision: Conservation of Momentum and Impulse

preview_player
Показать описание
Physics Ninja looks at a two dimensional perfectly inelastic collision. Conservation of momentum is used to calculate the final velocity and the angle. The impulse of each object is also calculated.

Thanks very understandable...so... solve me ...that problem...There are three box cars connected together moving of steady 24ms. They hit a fourth box that at rest and stick together.
Find the speed and the kinetic energy dissipated in the Collision

Hi! Do you have an example where maybe the red car moves on SE direction, for example? What I'm trying to say if you have an example where the intersection between those two cars is not realized under an 90deg angle? Thanks! Great explanations :)

Super over-complicated for a collision alligned with the x and y axis, but great for when they arent alligned.

Sir I'm proud of you. A thin film of oil (n = 1.25) is located on a smooth we floor. When viewed perpendicular to the floor, the film reflects most strongly red light at 640 nm and reflects no blue light at 512 nm. How thick is the oil film?
