Abhishek Singhvi, a senior leader in the Congress, claimed that Rahul Gandhi's removal from the House of Representatives was the result of a political vendetta on the part of the BJP. He claimed that the Congress planned to obtain a stay of execution for Gandhi in order to overturn the disqualification's legal foundation. "We are all aware of Rahul Gandhi's courage in speaking up both inside and outside of Parliament. He is undoubtedly paying a price for it. The administration feels uneasy. This regime is coming up with new ways to muffle his voice," he claimed.

India deserves and needs a better opposition. I'm sick of the current one.

Not Rahul Gandhi. We need sensible and mature people in the opposition leadership like Shashi Tharoor, he has vision and knowledge. Only then India will have a good, vibrant, progressive democracy.
But the Dynasty politics will not let that happen. Only Gandhis will become de-facto leader, even if they are short sighted, incompetent and immature, who don't have vision for the future and only chase behind power.
