"I don't undermine the power of the argument that people want to see a united opposition, but I think what the unity has to be a tactic. Will the Congress agree not to give any candidates in Bengal? Because in Bengal they are nowhere. They hardly have a vote bank in Bengal. I think the unity has to be tactical," Sushmita Dev, Trinamool Congress spokesperson, on the 2024 national election.
