Are young people becoming more conservative?

I became conservative last year and I have never been this content and this relaxed.... I came from the extreme left and liberalism

How do I like this multiple times? There are so many themes to it that I so strongly agree with. Seeing your thumbnail, I knew this would be a good one! I won’t lie: I haven’t seen the shift within the youth towards conservatism because I view South Africa as a care-free nation even to the things that matter. However, I will vouch for conservatism as being more inclined to the Christian faith. Liberalism on the other hand alludes to 2 Timothy 3:7 “who are always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.”

I absolutely love this. I have never personally been a full on liberal, however our education system does push us that way so my thoughts and ideas were always aligned with liberalism. But then I started being uncomfortable with certain topics and I would feel so ashamed because of having those thoughts. And then I thought to myself no it’s not a crime to think things that don’t align with liberalism. And for me the change came when I said to myself, if nobody was watching, what would I want for my life? And then suddenly so many of the things that Conservatives talk about aligned with things that I wanted for myself. Thank you for getting message out there, especially for girls in their early 20s. I wish there were voices like yours when I was in my early 20s. ❤

I believe that we as SA society should aim to be on the centre as much as possible. Extreme sides of either spectrum is very dangerous and should be some sort of social guardrails to guide us-sounds like we're in need of Christ🤔
