LIVE RECIPE DEMO and discussion about weight loss

RECIPE:
2 tins of sardines
1 can of either salmon or tuna or crabmeat etc
1/4 C Porkking Good Cajun pork rind crumbs
2 eggs
2 T mustard
1 tsp Old Bay or favorite seasoning
2 T softened butter
2 oz goat cheese (optional)
Mix all together and then fry in cast iron pan in small patty shape or make into large balls and AirFry 380 degrees for about 10-12 min depending how large or small your balls/patties are.
These freeze well for easy future meals. Just reheat in the air fryer for about 5 min from frozen

71 year old man, keto/carnivore for past 3 1/2 years, lost 30 lbs and maintaining 208 lbs at 6’1”. Feel fine, active and healthy with zero pharmaceuticals. Blood pressure normal etc. 👍👍👍

I listened to this on my morning walk today and ended up making these for breakfast! I didn't have all the ingredients so I changed it up a bit. I used a can of mackerel, 1 can of cod livers, egg, ground pork rinds and some Old Bay. I fried the patties in bacon grease and ate them with a little sour cream. Delicious and filling! Thanks for the inspiration.

I found your channel about 4 weeks ago and you have inspired me to stay very consistent with my "ancestral eating" plan. I am only 2 lb away from my goal of losing 100 lb. I started my big weight loss on Paleo, 9 years ago at 237 lb. I'm currently at 139lb, and I am healthy, pain-free and feel good everyday. I'm on no prescriptions and have no chronic which is great, since I am a 65-year-old, F, 5'6". I am a retired RN and I am impressed with your video content. I have stayed with paleo, but because of you, I am transitioning a bit towards following F75/P25! I eat a few vegetables, but much less than before I was influenced by you. Keep up the good work ! You are helping many!

For years I’ve made variety canned fish croquettes/patties; usually tuna or salmon with sardine, but toss in any canned fish, left over fish, anchovies, oysters. Mix with some quality mayo &/or eggs to bind and season, then fry. The are always delicious. A great way to get the incredible nutrition of sardines.

I made these as directed and used canned salmon as the 2nd fish. They are delicious - especially with butter on top! ❤ The goat cheese is a great addition. Thanks Dr Lisa!!

I bought the ingredients and made these with the crab meat this morning. Loved them! Was so happy to have my crab cakes and samlmon croquets back!

Duck fat is good but you can fry in lard or GHEE. Ghee has a high smoke point and won't burn. And you can get that wonderful butter flavor with Ghee. Plus its super easy to make at home at 1/4th the price of store bought.

Magical fishies. I like that. I eat them straight from the can. I don't love them, they're just ok, it's fast and easy straight from the tin and then you're just done.

On Carnivore since January 2023... started as Keto in January 2022 and had success but had stalled. Have lost a little on carnivore but had stalled. So glad I found this video today. I have purchased sardines but have been afraid to try them. Ohmygoodness.... what was I waiting for. Salty little delicious morsels. LOL. Made your patties today and am sold. They are so good and are very filling. This will now be part of my prepping for the week. We get canned salmon (not farmed) from a food program at our church and I have been saving them ... trying to get some inspiration. Well now I have it. Thanks again for this great recipe. I put a little bit of hot sauce in mine but I think I will go for a bit more next time. These are soooo good. My can of salmon is twice the size of yours so I added just a bit more of the pork panko. Again... thank you so much.

I made this recipe and they were really good! I ate lunch and wasn’t really very hungry the rest of the day. I’m glad to be getting some good variety and fish oil into my diet, thanks Dr W!

Wow. I just made those because I started the sardine challenge while on the carnivore diet for 3 weeks. But as soon as I did I got loose stool and didnt know what to do after 4 meals of only sardines. Now I made these and they taste fantastic! I hope my stool wont react the same to this as just plain sardines. I was already keto adapted and have done it off and on for many many years and never ever had loose stool before. It really was from the sardines I believe. Hopefully this will fix that! I added tuna to the sardines this time. Even my handicapped son loved the fish patties. So thank you so much for these fantastic fish balls!!

The Saracha factory is in the process of moving from California to Mexico. Once they get moved they will begin producing their wonderful sauce again. I was lucky enough to know before hand and stocked up.

I am so glad I found this video. I have been doing a ketovore diet and wanted to have some more variety. I made salmon patties yesterday for the first time and I liked them. I also had purchased cans of cod livers but had not tried them yet. The reason I haven’t tried them is because one can of cod livers is 800 calories. They are the same size as a can of sardines. I am going to try the cod livers in a salmon and sardine patty recipe to spread out the calories. Thanks for the video. On ketovore I am down 56 pounds in 104 days. My blood pressure is also going down. Thank you for the video. It is much appreciated
