The mash-up does sound kind of crude, volume-wise....but this is quite well done.

Maybe you should play around with the volumes of each of the tracks. Maybe raise the volume of one or two, and lower the others.

I had the same problem when I was mashing up 2 R-Type Delta themes.

Hmmm....I think I did hear a sample from "Hot, Hot, Hot" in the song. Anyway...nice work. PS. Have you ever tried getting Sonic game soundtrack CDs? If I could find them to buy online, the next ones I want are Cuts Unleashed: SA2 Vocal Collection, and the two Sonic Riders CDs including Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity Tracks!
