I'm going to maiden mine Saturday(8/10/24) with Jetfan 120, Savox 1261s and JP hobby retracts. Ya'll MFer's right on time with this video.

Un po troppo con l acqua alla gola con una 110mm.... Si vede anche in decollo....Per farlo volare bene bisogna alleggerirlo tanto .... Dalle baionette in carbonio a gambe dei carrelli retrattili stampate 3d. Poi per sfruttare al massimo una 110mm meglio osare con un labbro di aspirazione che crei un effetto venturi pauroso.... Però causando anche un consumo enorme di energia tanto che conviene passare ad una edf da 120mm ....
Personalmente ho questo setup: jetfan eco 120 con het 800-68-685 controller hobbywing platinum pro opto 260 amp. Servi pichler ds3615hv il tutto gestito da elettronica frsky con rb20 ridondanza batterie e rx per essere sicuri. Lipo motore dxf 7000mah 6sx2 .condotti aperti e tubo di spinta a 103.2mm cosi da avere un fsa pari al 90% . cosi si ottengono 5 minuti di volo in scioltezza. Peso al decollo 8400grammi

Good stuff man! How’s the nerves with flying that size bird? I have a punch of 90mm jets and I’ve always have the shacks for the maiden. I’ve been flying for maybe 5yrs now. Do the nerves go away with time? I’m less nervous than I was 2 yrs ago. That’s with 500-700 dollar planes. 😂

Will, great flying, good to see. Could you give me a little more information on your receiver and ubec setup please. I have the same jet with a 120 fan but yet to get off the ground as I think I have over complicated things. Is that a 8 or 10 channel receiver? And is it connected to the ubec? This is what I need to understand. Do you have a separate battery for the receiver?
