Maiteis were fighting against the British imperialism that's why the British restricted them to 10% of that state, kukis are allowed to buy land in the maiteis area but maitaeis aren't allowed to buy land in the 90% area that kukis were granted by the British, this is apartheid, abd top of it kukis are also counted as tribal whereas maiteis aren't when the manipur High court suggest to end this apartheid by also including maiteis in the tribal list, that's when all the unrest started to unfold,
Kukis should realise that apartheid is never okay, and most importantly this apartheid law was brought by the British for their divide and rule policy, so this apartheid needs to go.
