Violence erupts in India’s Manipur as ethnic tensions rise

In India's Manipur state, the Kuki ethnic minority and Meitei majority are preparing for more outbreaks of violence.
Tensions rose in May after a court recommended the Meiteis be granted preferential status.
Since then, at least 115 people have been killed in fighting and more than 40,000 forced from their homes.

If you go to meiteei village you will see only women because their man are going to attack the hill village but if you go to kuki village you will see mostly man who are protecting their village from the state government, meitei man and many ug group . The kuki women are send away from many village to stay in relief camp .

that young meitei lady is lying through her teeth. even in the video itself you can see the meiteis having better weapons while that kuki guy has only a single barrel gun probably used for hunting wild animals only. The meiteis have been looting the State's Police training armoury multiple times and have stolen over 4000 weapons and ammunition. nevertheless, the fear instilled in both communities is real. Its been over 50 days and the president's rule should have been imposed long back. Biren Singh's govt is to blame for everything. He incited hatred.
