In this announcement, he proposed something called the International Solar Alliance!!! This would be an alliance of 100 countries that will become the solar powerhouse of the world. and this is very very important to India because India will be the leader of this alliance considering how important renewable energy is, if this alliance is formed and operated properly, just like the middle eastern countries dominated the 20th century to become the richest nations in the world, we could achieve the same and become the renewable superpower of the world!! And this means more money, more power, and most importantly lots of business opportunities for the solar entrepreneurs of India!!!
So the question is,

being a chartered accountant i can confirm you...that goi is very aggresive on policy related to solar installation in village house, offices, bank and many more....
never saw so many policies, finance and vision of gov before 2015 on solar installation...
all i can say that the change is visible on ground too. specially on hilly areas...almost every house has already installed solar energy..
