Reasonable Faith and Avoid Project team up for this cinematic short film on the impossible reality of our universe's finely-tuned, life-permitting existence.

"Scientists have come to realize a startling truth- the universe looks suspiciously like a fix." -Paul Davies

Our existence is balanced on a razor's edge of incomprehensible good fortune.

From the first moment of its inception, the universe’s governing parameters appear to have been delicately calibrated to permit the existence of intelligent life. . . . . . . . . . . .

The more I study physics the more I believe in intelligent design for the universe.

That last line was particularly powerful. The universe is not just a random ensemble of natural phenomena. It is a place, a grand stage, for God to display not only His power, but a place where He can be revealed to a people which He has made for Himself.

Knowing those puts me in sheer awe of the magnitude of God's glory and His love for us infinitesimally finite beings in a speck of dust we call Earth.

"For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Him and for Him.
He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together."
– Colossians 1:16-17

Glory be to the Lord God Almighty!

*_1John 5.9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son. 10 He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. 11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. 12 He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God._*

Thanks for the video Reasonable Faith! For anyone else interested, I recommend Luke Barne's book on fine-tuning as one of the best in its field.

It's going to be a very sad day when WLC leaves us.

That’s a really good point. It (the multiverse) completely invalidates probability... which most people would never hold to on a physically realisable level.

Yes, one of the greatest miracles of all is the ground we walk on. Only surpassed by God's willingness to save those that have committed cosmic treason of the highest caliber while walking on it.
