Brian Cox: James Webb Insane Discovery Could Destroy The Universe

The Big Bang stands as the definitive narrative of modern cosmology a bold assertion that our universe had a beginning and possesses a finite age.
However, the concept of a singular cosmic beginning, followed by billions of years of cosmic expansion, has faced skepticism since its inception and doubters have challenged its validity.

Just consider that in 100 years this telescope will look primitive

JWST has not disproven the Big Bang theory. It has certainly brought into question our ideas of star & galaxy formation, and the progression of the early state of the universe. But to portray these revelations as "complete destroying" our understanding of the universe is disingenuous to the public.

Basically we’re a bunch of fish in a tank that sits in a dentist’s waiting room. A few fish are pretty certain that we are held in the tank by some sort of invisible force (glass) and believe our understanding of life in the tank somehow depends on understanding what is going on in the waiting room. Nobody as yet has any idea that we are in a building full of rooms, a city full of buildings, and a world of unending chaos.

We're dust, explaining to other dust, where all the dust came from.

This whole concept is fascinating. Being able to look further out and it flips so much that we think we know on its head. It’s so cool….. and scary.

No one knows how big the Universe is, it may be endless. It may expand for ever.

We really don't know anything. All we have is theories and speculation. Finite man trying to figure out the infinite

It's kind of crazy how mainstream science pivots this into "we need to develop new theories" instead of giving crediting or working with the plasma cosmologist etc who were told they were incorrect all these years; who are now being shown were correct in so many ways.

They need to find the solution for the theory of gravity. The confusion with James Webb results suggests they need to take drastic action for the science breakthroughs they desire. The answer as far as I see it, lies in gravity.

Where did the big bang take place at? In other words if the big bang created the universe how could the big bang have taken place. The universe is infinite in time as well as size. The big bang, if true, is only a point in time in which all heavily bodies in the universe (stars, planets, moon, etc) began. But before the big bang the universe was still here or the events of the big bang could not have happened.

Colliding black holes causes notable waves in space time. I'm curious how that'd let you see back further as those waves themselves have a speed determined by yet another assumed speed limit

Human knowledge is based in observation and because the Universe is out of reach for humans to observe it then we cant understand it

Forgive me if this is a dumb question but how do we know which direction in space to look for the origin of the Big Bang?

JWT has only shown earlier galaxy formation than previously thought, not destroyed the Big Bang Theory. Solution: Galaxy Formation was much more intense and earlier than previously thought, due to a much more rich and abundant presence of matter in a smaller space. Those old well formed galaxies are still moving away at an increasingly accelerated speed

All my life's study on the universe tells me it is alive, it's a living being, we're just a cell of that.
