I understand that the pandemic hit the theme parks pretty hard. But they'd be foolish to think their unwanted live action remakes of old classics is going to keep them afloat.

Eventually everyone is going to be tired of buying merchandise of attractions they can't even ride. They need to be putting all that focus and getting those Parks opened to full capacity(as in rides and characters back, even if they limit the amount of people)

In sad Disney news, Charles Boyer passed away. His artwork, especially Mickey thanking a firefighter is one of my favorite pieces of Disney artwork.

I’m currently taking a movie marketing class rn. They said it’s really hard to compare streaming views to box office sales. As far as Mulan and Raya going for $30, it might be because of how it is released in other countries. Today US movie studios are creating content for the world and they need different distribution for international audiences

Regarding how they calculate money made on Soul I would say it’s based off how many existing users watched the movie as well as how many new users signed up and watched the movie.

I am fine with social distancing. But I seriously hope we eventually get to a point where we don’t need masks. Thanks for the video!

David, When you hear Chapek talk on future theme park investment, he never sounds that enthusiastic about the parks anyway. He does'nt like spending money on them. He'd be happy if they were just fields. He wants us all to just buy merchandise. With the World Fair opening later this year. It is the" Future World" portion of EPCOT that need's a huge investment. Otherwise like the Tomorrow Land's, it will all be Old Time Land. Let's hope he keep's the Imagineers doors open. When Walt went to the banks to try and raise money for Disneyland they were'nt interested. He was told, "Mr. Disney, these kind of parks are dirty and they have people there." Even today the finance institutions feel the same way. So they would'nt worry if Disney never invested another cent in the parks. Share prices would sky rocket. Chapek would be the best C.E. O. ever. Cheers Chris Perry.

Love how you make sure we get as much as possible from legit sources.

I think for Soul, they can tell which accounts watch the movie and when those accounts signed up. 🤔 So if an account signed up when the movie released, then watched it, they can estimate what they earned from those new accounts.

I knew teens with some type of annual pass in the early 80’s, they went dancing at Tomorrowland every weekend in 1984 so I think there has been a format of annual pass since at least that time.

The end of Q2 is June 30th. Not sure where you came up with an April date. I think the parks are looking at a mid july opening.

I'm happy that David is genuine! We gotta get Fresh Baked more subs! 130K is not enough... David deserves more. Where is Ian with all this? Any updates with him?

David - FYI, according to the LA Times, Disneyland began its PA program in 1984 at $65. The daily ticket price (though there are conflicting stories on the actual price) went up that year from $17 to $18. I say we go back to the old days!! Sure, you won't be able to turn around or scratch your own nose because of the crowds, but hey, you're in and you don't have to threaten the children's college fund.
