As of May 4, 2024, the U.S. Department of State has been advising Americans to reconsider travel to Baja California, Mexico due to crime and kidnapping. This warning is part of a travel advisory for Mexico that has been in effect since late August 2023.

Im not sure why anyone would travel to this county at all when us government puts out warnings
