all right we're going to power on the BCD436HP for the first time so we can see how to set it up and matter your zip code and get it up and running daylight savings say yes set time zone set the year yes month it is alive said date is the lifting so we simply delete they enter the hour a minute processing alright so after you've entered your time in the date select your country so we select by Templeton's heading zip services he's like the USA and your zip code we're in Minneapolis cylinder high five core zero eight yes it's processing I'll take a little bit here so basically it comes with all the US and Canadian frequencies on it and it'll start searching based on the zip code of which I enter so it will start pulling all the frequencies around us and that's it and it's all set up so you can see you're up and running in just a matter of minutes with the BCD436HP

It would help if you would explain what your doing when setting the clock instead of just mumbling through it.

At 1:16, your edit cuts out something important. Once the time is set, the screen says Scan Mode Nothing to Scan, then there's a cut, and after the cut in your video at 1m16s, you are magically on the country select...but you cut out HOW you got there. What did you do after "Nothing to Scan" to get the country input to come up?

How to take this off military time? when I set scanner up I accidently clicked 12hr instead of 24hr and now its stuck on military time when I go back in to set the clock it doesn't give that option again so what can i do? thx

Went way too fast, did not explain what you were doing or which time zone, + or - what? on time zone.

This is no help to new users, because the first thing the scanner asks is for you to set the clock. It's maddening trying to do this. Someone needs to do a video on how to set the stupid clock!@
