I really wish I lived near you because I"d be throwing you all my money, lol! I'm 47 (lifetime weight struggle), and you've finally drilled it into my head that the scale is not the priority with fitness/weight loss! It's taken me a while, but since I've found your page, I'm doing things differently and I'm confident in the stuff I'm learning. Thanks for all of your info and awesome videos! Thank you for this. I needed this info because I’m trying to lose weight and my goal is 130. Good thing is I lost 20 pounds, but it seems like I can’t lose this last 10 pounds. It’s so hard. My body keeps going up and down. I’ll weigh 141 then later I’ll weigh 144. And it gets me mad. Thanks for this vid, it made me feel better.

I can physically see I’m losing weight, but my weight has fluctuated between 180-189 lbs for the past 3 weeks. I’m so discouraged.

Good video! I started a body recomposition seven months ago with dedicated strength training and I feel great and my clothes fit much better. I hadn't weighed myself since I started so I stepped on recently to check in and found that I gained 6 lb but my body fat is down. Back in the day, that would have sent me into a neurotic tailspin of slashing calories and doing too much cardio. Now I realize that it really is just a stupid number and it's about your body composition and is not reflective of how you look and definitely shouldn't reflect how we feel about ourselves.

hi Michelle!, I removed the batteries from my scale haha, and i started to use a measuring tape, I have to say I feel liberated, chasing a number on the scale is exhausting and sometimes even depressing when the numbers dont go down. I'm always tempted to check my weight ( old habits die hard) but since my scale doesn't work I cant do it lol Thanks for sharing with us :)

Was back up 2lbs (only weigh myself when I’m not PMSing or on my period, once first thing in the morning). Was so annoyed because I haven’t eaten more

Hi Michelle hope that you are well 👍 I have read recently a fitness article and it seems the weight varies on each individual. For example my legs are extremely long and body is very short and long arms, long bones will affect my weight somehow. I don’t know anymore what is my body built for or what is the optimum weight that my body should have? I have cuted down calories and eating very late and I have run 4 days in the row about 5 Km a day, doing push ups, walking lunges, bicep curls and I am feeling a lot better. Your tips are great thanks for sharing. I realize that my abdominal area is the pne that needs more attention and even if i run 5 km my abdominal area is cold and the rest of the body having hot temperature. Do you think if I will wear a thermo vest will help with abdominal fat burn? thanks a lot Michelle 🏆

Booz are my weakness sometimes and sometimes sweets. It’s been hard to figure out how to keep weight off. I’ll lose 5lbs then I drink or am craving sugar and will blow it and be back at 170.
It’s so frustrating I can not lose past 167. I used to be 125lb but I got pregnant and gained 50lbs. And it’s been impossible to lose it since.

What if you are doing everything and the body fat in scale goes
I understand the scale weight but the body fat going up in the scale is demoralizing.
And I am doing everything right. 😢

i have question, i am trying to lose weight, doing diet, regular exercise including cardio and weight lifting and trying to build some muscle, when my weight goes up by a pound or two how would i know if its just weight flunctuation? or perhaps i gained muscle?

What's a little jump. I fluctuate up to 14lbs in one 24 hour period. This morning I was up 12lbs from yesterday.

Can you tell me why my weight is, for example, 56.5kgs in the morning, and then after eating breakfast (very little breakfast, btw.) and drinking around 2 litres, (and urinating that out too) and weigh myself in the afternoon, it’s up a kg to 57.6kgs! Please do reply…
