If you haven’t noticed by now, I like to ELEVATE just about every part of my life.

& that includes my morning routine.

At the start of every day, we have the CHOICE of how we want to FUEL our bodies and provide them with the necessary nutrients needed to not just survive…but THRIVE.

For me, that means supercharging my coffee with collagen, which packs amino acids like glycine - good for connective tissue, hair, skin & nails.
I also throw in some MCT oil for brain power, a bit of salt to keep me hydrated, and chocolate because, let's be real, it's just too good to skip.

My day starts like this 4 organic eggs mushroom s mixed Swiss brown and shiitake cook mushrooms in grass feed butter and one whole avocado with balsamic vinegar thats it

Doctor, I’m curious about your perspective on why caffeine is necessary after waking up. Doesn’t the need to “jumpstart” with caffeine suggest a potential lack of quality recovery during sleep? Ideally, sleep should provide the body with enough natural energy to start the day feeling refreshed. Needing caffeine immediately, before any activity, seems to imply that rest wasn’t fully restorative. Could this be a sign of something missing in the sleep cycle or the body’s recovery process? Don’t get me wrong—I love a cup of black coffee, but first thing in the morning??

I start with 16 oz of water with 1 lemon squeezed into it. Then I do coffee after the dogs have been let out.

Pretty much the exact same thing I make every morning. Except I add a teaspoon of creatine. It is one of three teaspoons I take in a day.

I do a cup of Deathwish with half a pack of carnation breakfast vanilla. Then a shake with 8oz of almond milk/8oz of egg whites/2scoops PB2 powder/other half of breakfast vanilla. At 4am

In my coffee go finely chopped fresh from the garden rosemary, Ceylon cinnamon, garam masala with extra turmeric, freshly ground pepper, MCT oil or grass-fed butter.

All this, plus 2 whole eggs (eggs cook in 195 degree coffee) blended until creamy with a stick blender. Think coffee brûlée if you sweeten. Cheers!

Nice…I put cinnamon, a splash of organic heavy cream and a packet of stevia. Sometimes turmeric and black pepper to make it a golden milk coffee. Wouldn’t mind putting in collagen and MCToil though.

Drink a perked coffee in the morning x2 with some.non dairy creamer. Then any coffee after that is black instant. 5 cal per cup.

Lol...I do the same thing minus the chocolate...but collagen, mct oil...have been adding a teaspoon of ghee as discovered it adds a nutty undertone...adding a bit of salt sounds interesting. 😊 am personally trying to gain weight...but since listening to your audible book...lost all muscle tone and around 100lbs when had pancreatic removal surgery 2 yrs ago to avoid cancer...got opened 2x as a leak was discovered 4 days later....was sent home with a feeding tube and to this day still have issues eating and stopping the weight loss...despite eating 1500-2500 Cals a day, its not sticking according to my drs....they have no idea why....but am thinking..since listening to your book and podcasts am thinking need to build muscle not gain fat....and perhaps that will help. Am at wits end...and getting more serious with the drs...stepping away to focus on getting healthy...weight has dropped to 98lbs...and have no more weight to loose...already feel like a skeleton.
