If you go full brake and then add steering, you won't compromise your braking much at all, you will just understeer.

I'm trying to overcome brake acuated differential on my Corolla, lot of tap dancing with the left foot on brake. ECU will cut power if I stay on the brake and gas together too long or too hard. Running about 6 seconds on average behind the AWD turbo guys.

2:05 I don't think it's being simple,
at the end of the day the driver has to know & feel the physics and work with it.
It's not something anyone can calculate on the fly no matter how smart they think they are.
It can help one understand what to expect to feel though.

What happened to old concept that you must use throttle when drifting to dig more grip on loose surface?
