China "cracked down" on hate and xenophobia online... yeah, right...
I jumped over the great firewall of China to check to see if they were telling the truth.

The worst kind of brainwashing targeted to children.

After 4.5 years in Beijing, I moved to Tokyo in late 2022. I hear Mandarin EVERYWHERE here. Chinese with the means have fled China to live in Japan

A former employee of mine was a Chinese immigrant. She told me that they were taught in school to hate the Japanese. Even for young school children, textbooks included photos of atrocities committed against Chinese people by the Japanese. She described them to me, and i will not include them here because they were horrific. It reminded me of the way that the US is reported to be depicted in North Korean schools.
China has a population problem. Far too many young men, far too few young women. That equates to about 30 million men with no romantic prospects. What do you do to keep a population of young men, without romantic prospects from becoming disillusioned with their society and government? Give them someone to hate. Some outside entity to deflect their anger towards, while instilling nationalistic fervor.

11:50 the only reason why china is "apologising" is because they were caught that is all there is to it.

I can confirm the Chinese hate the Japanese. I am an American that was stationed in Japan. I went on a two week tour of China in 2001. There were so many homeless beggars surrounding the tour group everywhere we went. I told them I was from Japan. They would spit at me, but they would be so full of hate and go away and leave me alone. Eventually, the entire tour group was telling the beggars they were all from Japan as well so they would leave them alone. I had no idea the Chinese hated the Japanese until I went on that tour.

Fun fact, for decades Japan was the largest doner to China by a very significant amount. Something they don’t teach the Chinese kids in school.

13:38 I couldn't go to China. 1. The food is unsafe. 2. The water is unsafe. 3. I've posted comments like this before, and with the laws being what they are, I might get arrested instead of have a vacation. 4. Even if I praised China in every post, I could still be arrested and ransomed back to my country if the CCP thought that was in their interest. 5. I might be unlucky and discover my organs are a match for a wealthy Chinese man. 6. China destroyed most of it's cultural heritage under Mao, so there is not much left to see after you see The Great Wall.

Let's all further help the Chinese out by reducing any Made-in-China purchases whenever humanly possible.

My mother was French, and I have family in France. They lived under German occupation during WW2. I have zero hate or anger towards them. I, and most Germans that are alive, had nothing to do with the war. The Germans did nothing to me to be angry at them. The unjustified hate towards the Japanese by many Chinese who weren’t even alive, nor were victims of the Japanese occupation, is ridiculous.

They still can't get over that, WW2 is over, they're not the only victims during the Japanese occupation, even here in PH our former president Quirino forgives Japan, even after his wife and children were killed by them, , he still choose to forgive them, he doesn't want "Hate" to be pass on the future generations, so he did manage to do that, he manage to prevent the Cycle of Hate

I went to China on business a lot from 2006 through the end of 2011 and worked closely with a lot of young Chinese. I can confirm that hatred of Japan was common among young Chinese.
