Love this! Thank you so much. I've been looking forever for good tutorials for my 10 year old son and I to do together because he's really into learning the program and wanting to eventually get a Launchpad but I wanted him to get familiarized with the program first. Can't wait to get started on this with him!

Thanks so much man, just bought a Push 2 and I have never been able to do ANYTHING with Ableton until now... You made the Push totally worth it and now I can actually make more than just drum loops. Thanks so much bro

Such a hidden video. Very glad I found this video and your channel. You have helped me understand Ableton better than the masterclass courses. Thank you so much.

Switching from FL to Ableton with not a clue as to how to find my way around. You made things simple man. Props!!

A tip for you all - don't use the mixer to reduce the sounds. Use the instrument (sampler, operator, etc) output, or even better (my opinion) use a Gain control! Gain staging is an important part of mixing, and it might as well be started during sound design so you aren't clipping through it.

Now you can automate the mixer controls later and 0 will always be the max, which will give you higher resolution.

Please do more in these series. I actually prefer these to the current making the track series you are doing because they are more detailed. That being said, both series are great. Keep up the great content. It is very helpful.

I've been wanting to make EDM with Ableton for a while (I bought it and Nexus2 a while back) and find it a bit hard to get used to but anyways, thanks man and you just earned yourself a subscriber!!!

i like that you explain why you're doing what you do, where as others (mostly seen in FL studio) just say "do this" instead of "do this because" lol

Great vid man.

Thank you. I found this very useful. I don't have Serum, so I spent a lot of time trying to make the same sounds with Operator. It took me three hours to complete the first part because of that, but I learned a lot because of it. Very good tutorial!
