Check me out on the web!:

Today's tutorial is the 6th and final in a series of videos, in which I created a track from start to finish. This track is a very rough concept and I want to leave it up to the viewers to put the finishing touches on it. Show me what you got! No work went into this track that was not recorded in these videos! Please rate the video and leave your opinions in the comment section below! Subscribe for future content!
Cheers!

Julian, I'm a growing EDM artist and have released my third track recently. I've looked at hundreds of tutorials, and yours is truly the best. I was stuck on writing melodies and chord progressions, but now it's not as difficult! Thanks for doing what you do

Not gonna lie. Going into this video series, I had my doubts on that part after the buildup, but now hearing at the end, it sounds really good!

Just would like to say thank you. Because of these tutorials I got a tiny bit better at Ableton and made my (our?) first song! I Will be making changes to that until I think I can say that I really MADE the song hahah. Thanks again, super helpful.

Thanks a lot Julian, I just switched to Ableton after using Fl studio for almost 10 years. First time I opened Ableton I felt like a caveman haha, now I'm kind of getting used to it. Even though you didn't explain every little detail, (that would be almost impossible) just by looking at your workflow I learnt a lot. Keep up the good work!

Thank you. I am a die hard rocker trying to learn all this and I am going to go back to part 1 and try to create something myself as I follow you. I even rented Serum because of this.

Again, this was a great series to watch for someone like me that has never written or produced music in my life.

I read some of your comments and can see you kind of getting down on yourself a little, or that you weren't feeling it or w/e.. I think what you did across the series from start to finish could be redone, over and over as a unique sort of series you could do. Sort of like a sandbox EDM track production series where you don't have to be committed to a certain sound or feeling at any point.. You can change any number of things without worrying about 'messing it up'. Think - Bob Ross' painting series. Happy accidents and such. The end goal could be to even have 2 similar but different sounding songs from the 1st part to the last part of the given series (Pretty much what you did in this series). We would all be able to learn together and see how the track evolves and what sounds or effects lead to certain changes.. etc I'm rambling but you get the idea.

Watching the process unfold, and seeing how every little change affects the song, is what were learning from the most, not your ability create a chart topper while recording a youtube series. Also some of us are complete noobs and your explanations of things like side chaining and what certain knobs or controls do in each setting helps us loads.
