On the 16.09.2024, we were at Nissi Beach (one of the world's top beaches) to capture a unusual event. Our favourite beach in Cyprus turned into a natural wave pool party! 🌊🔥
We braved the strong winds and red flags for an unforgettable experience to capture this video. Afterwards, we chatted with Petros, a local lifeguard, who assured us this is normal for this time of year and won't last long.
Plus, he told us the strong winds are actually good for cleaning the water and that in October each year, the wind direction changes from the south to the north which results in AMAZING conditions at Nissi Beach.
He said it made the beach feel like a Caribbean-like destination!
