The last clip will truly shock you😳 Have you ever been out on the North Sea before? It is well known as one of the most dangerous seas in the world. It has wild storms and foggy winters. Because the sea is mostly shallow, the currents are strong and often pull in different directions. Not only one of the most dangerous in the world but also the coldest (it has an average temperature of 17°C in summer and 6°C in winter)🥶

0:40 - One must have nerves of steel to stand there and greet the ocean like that.

I was more afraid of the song, it was so different from what I had heard, as if it was the end of everything in the world

I was on the Polyconfidence and was thrown out of my bed when that big wave came through. The CCRO on Brent Bravo said that it listed over, filling cabinets fell over, chairs flew across the room and the list held for about 10 seconds. He thought it was going over, if another wave had hit, they would have. This was a concrete legged rig designed to withstand the 100 year wave and because they weren’t sure, they added a further 50% of tolerance. It ripped Kennedy grating off the spider decks and imbedded them in the floor of the deck levels. The Polys bridge said that they could see below the bottom of the leg bumper bars as the trough came and they the wave bashed the main deck.
They reckon they had 4 near to 100 year waves within a 6 year period all in the Brent basin. Good times!

Whenever I’m next too a large enough forest, I kinda get a deep primal « calling ». Same thing with the ocean. I know I’m not the only one.
