I would also recommend Ouran Highschool Host Club and Dr Slump, so more genre overall are in it. So whatever the person is more interested in, they will find something that shows them: We've got you covered!
And maybe also Ore Monogatari, cause I can't think of any romance story that is as wholesome as that one without needing a lot of drama to be enjoyable to watch. It's maybe the best romance genre representative I've seen so far.

Wolfs rain. Start with wolfs rain. Black blood brothers, dragonball to dragonball super, bleach, naruto, vampire hunter d, ninja scrolls, gundam wing, and fullmetal alchemists the whole series. The rest you named dont make it nowhere near the ones you should start with. Overrated. Wolfs rain is the best. Sad but awesome.
