Raccomanding a 1090 episodes anime for starters should be illegal 💀💀

Naruto with its full count being over 700: 😅

Full metal alchemist brotherhood. Still the most satisfying anime. Wraps up quick and it cover all bases.

Erased is a fantastic choice. The ending isn't perfect but it's a great show. I've shown it to plenty of newcomers and it's always a hit

I have watched erased 3 times through and the live action. It is so underrated for the concept and how it was executed. It's so good to see it actually get some love!

Whenever someone asks me for a starter anime, I always answer the same thing

Cowboy Bebop, simple to understand, funny as hell, banger soundtrack, likable and understandable characters, glorious fight scenes, and dosent go on for too long,
It's only 26 episodes long, and if you want more, they made an hour and half long movie

Madoka Magica, the perfect 12 ep masterpiece.

I'd argue that you absolutely should start off with an extremely long running anime. One that has deep and intricate lore, multi-faceted characters with a lot of depth, and an interesting premise that has plenty of cycles of build up and pay off. They're shows a person can become deeply invested in, and that's good as an intro to anime as a whole. Unique art styles and quality animation are both good to have too, especially for older anime wherein you can see it progressively improve in art and voice acting over time. Bleach, One Piece, and Naruto all fit that description. Other anime I'd include for those reasons are Fairy Tail, Noragami, World Trigger, and My Hero Academia.

I personally think AOT is one of the best anime you can give to a newbie because of the great hook that is episode 1. Incredible story, Mystery ofc a lot of people love Mystery and the World building

mad respect i would have never expected this from BDA Law he's my favorite One Piece youtuber by far but after seeing this i respect him even more he didn't recommend OP for anime newcomers despite that potentially helping his career wich shows that he actually cares more about people's enjoyment than his potential increases ... never change man!

I would go with Death Note, Attack on Titan, Full Metal Alchemist, Demon Slayer, and One Punch Man.

For new anime fans series with too many episodes can be overwhelming, and some shows just appeal to western sensibilities better. Also since many people have stereotypes of anime being for kids, darker themes can help to erase that notion and ease them into a wider variety.
