The nikon z8 way better camera in every aspect for less money 🔥

At this point, I'm only considering cameras that have that 4-way screen, it's a game changer and so far, only 3 cameras have this system.

As a professional product photographer I have to say I've owned sony for many years I'm really impressed they are the best mirrorless camera company on the market right now they play ball themselves sony is admirable

So nice to hear you are spending time with your daughter. I'm looking at replacing my aging A9 MKI spring next year. As much as I would love a A1MKII it will suffer the same problems as my current A1. I shoot a lot of presenters in front of LED screens and the A1 suffers terrible Moire. So I am thinking of getting the A9III as the lower pixel count should mean its at least as good as my A9MKI

a1 II feels like a A7 RVa with stacked sensor.

I still want it and conflicted. Maybe I'll wait to see what a7 V brings.

The Canon R5mii can do 8k60 RAW which the A1II can't do. Let's be real here. The difference is sensor speed is not going to make that much of a difference. There is no way this camera should be $2300 more than the R5mii. The only people who will buy this are corporate contracts and people forced into Sony's Ecosystem. I'm sure Jared Polin is extemely happy he jumped shiped to Canon.

It does not have 4k oversampled from 8k ... also a crop at 4k 120p ... at this price point!!

Thanks Manny for the great review. Always appreciate your reviews as they are from a real photographer. You hit on all the important points for me and would like in your next video to compare the stabilization of the original A1 vs the A1 II. For me, that would be the biggest reason to chose one over the other. Thanks!

After reviewing the specs, I kind feel like either an a93 might be a better purchase unless you absolutely just love this camera.

Even the a7r5, at almost half the price, would probably be the better buy, unless you absolutely need the high burst rates.

Looking at both the R5ii and the A1ii l feel perhaps we are at a stage where we cannot keep innovating but just refine l think we will find out when Nikon release a Z9ii.

Pre capture is the only upgrade. Jan Wegener compared the AF to the R5M2 and declared the Canon AF was superior. The mark 2 should have been priced lower to justify itself.

lol the way you were struggling trying to reason with the price for this camera was hilarious, and i totally agree with you far as how sony handles thier flag ship cameras, its like all the newer features are gonna come out on the a75 and the a1ii will get a update like 2 years later

A1 mk1 was introduced at $9k in my country. mk2 has a price increase of 17%. LoL! It's more than twice the price of a Z8. Sony's pushing me towards a brand switching.

I love the Sony brand. At this price, it’s really not worth buying this camera. We’re talking about the Sony A1 Mark II. For that amount of money, you could get two modern Canon bodies plus one lens. It’s honestly a much better deal than buying the Sony.
