You know someone is good at their job when they make it look easy and the work is well done.

I enjoyed watching this video in a way I don't understand. We were created to work, something soothing about seeing a task completed. Productivity gives meaning to our days.

My cousin has a business that does this type of tinting, never seen them apply tint on the outside of windows at any business, always on the inside. One way, metallic, ceramic, you name it, they always apply it to the inside. I shot him an email to ask about this and he said the weather/elements would ruin this tint job in a few years and they'd have to have it done again. More business for these guys, and it's easier to apply from outside generally because there's very little to work around, whereas inside you have to be careful not to get things wet, let the spray run down walls, around electrical outlets, etc. Makes sense.

Looks great! Thought it should have been installed from the inside though. Was longer than 3 minutes though.

So, the application of this film outside of the window makes so much sense to me now…I now feel that all reflective, one way type films should be installed outside of the window. If you think about where the glue is on this film, if installed on the inside then the reflective part would be facing inside and this is why I feel DIY’ers are complaining of cracked windows and increased heat inside the home, because the reflective side is pointing inward towards the room instead of outward and reflecting the sun rays. I’m now certain, in my own mind, that THIS is the proper and only way this type of film should be used and installed. Now I feel better about the purchase of it….Only question is the longevity of it staying installed being outside of the window.

Had this done on my home, instead of those screens that always blow off! But this is supposed to be done from the inside not the outside! Doing it on the outside dirt rocks
and everything would tear it up.

Great job. I wish he let us look at it from inside the building, I wonder how it looks.

It would be so nice to see the view through the glass before & after, thats like baking a muffin & not biting into it at the end..the best bit 😂

Does anybody know if a reflective window film can be used as a regular mirror? Im trying to set up a wall mirror and the films look way less expensive than buying an actual 3m x 1.5m mirror and getting it shipped

Is this an external door? Wondering how it stays stuck on through wind and rain, dirt and then cleaning ?
As its just cling attached surely this won't be suitable for external?
