Of all the videos this is the one that made it click. I'd heard other people saying to use the edge of the finger, but I just assumed that meant angled toward the edge, rather than directly on the edge of the finger. Now I got it. Thank you!

Actually if i may ask....gor eminor shaped bar chords like f#m...how high does the index finger need to move up? Coz the g string nvr seems to ring in those chords when trying my comfortable position when i play thr f chord...so there are tips for this prob of.mine honestly
