This pulmonary embolism webinar is part of a series of outreach meetings for Cardiologists, Vascular, Interventional Radiologists, Radiology, Pulmonary, and Primary Care physicians and their midlevel providers.
It is a multi-institutional effort that includes providers from Michigan Medicine, Henry Ford Health System, Ascension Health, Columbia University, and Ohio State University.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
• Discuss appropriate equipment and staff needs for patients requiring an acute pulmonary embolism intervention.
• Understand the clinical characteristics and needs of typical patients undergoing an acute pulmonary embolism intervention.
• Discuss logistical challenges to starting a program including clinical, staffing, administrative, and procedural.
