My wedding anniversary is the same day the Nintendo Switch came out. MARCH 3.

And I forgot it was 2 days ago... but fortunately Twitter was full of people tweeting hastag nintendo so I remembered and got things ready for my wife.

Thanks Nintendo hahaha you saved me.

I'm seriously glad Nintendo proved everyone wrong with the Switch, at least for the folks who acted like their was nothing good about it and said that it was going to be "another Wii U situation all over again."
And I'm really happy that game companies are finally starting to see the selling point of the Switch with its hybrid nature and are actually developing games with Switch in mind.

The Switch is yet another proof that hardware power is not what matters.

I've been using my Switch constantly whenever I have to go on a business trip or visit family. Sometimes with work I will have to leave for a week or so. I might be in a hotel doing nothing. Before, I would just get on my tablet and do whatever, but I was cut off from real gaming without my home PC. So its either get a laptop for $1200+ with the same exact games I have on my home desktop, or its $350+ for the switch that is more portable and with unique games. I love my Switch. It is my perfect compliment to my primary gaming PC.

Nintendo hit it out of the park for me. The Switch is that perfect complimentary console with unique hardware as its selling point along with its 1st person IPs unlike Sony who just hordes IPs that aren't 1st person to sell consoles.

I just wish that Nintendo would get this cartridge situation under control and make them cheaper for developers to put full games on them instead of half on the cart and half as a digital download. Nintendo could take a small loss on getting them out there with 64gb included making them cheaper and in turn would make the money back easy. Then the consumer is happy because we can get the games we want fully physical if we want or digital if we choose. It would also, make developers want to get their games on the system because they can afford it to put out their games on a 32-64gb cartridge. This would make Nintendo and any developer more money(not fully the case for every game) but, could solve a huge problem this system faces.

The switch is such an increíble console! BOTW, Mario Odyssey, Smash Bros Ultimate, Link Awakening Remake (coming soon), Pokémon, etc...Add the portability aspect and you have yourself one of the best consoles of all time, just 2 years out of the gate.

I remember, back in January 2015, watching a video that you uploaded talking about the Tegra X1 and what it could mean for gaming and then going and doing my own research and getting very excited at the possibilities. Then when the Switch was revealed back in October 2016, so many media outlets, youtubers, and gamers were disappointed by the fact the Switch was using a Tegra X1 and were skeptical about what it could handle, however, I knew because I watched your own video and did the research myself that it was going to be a lot better then people were thinking.

Then, from launch and all the way up until the end of June, while we had games, publishers weren't hopping on board despite the system selling well and there wasn't much in the way of 3rd party news. Many were saying it was because the system couldn't handle most games because of the chip but again, I knew that this wasn't the case and the Switch could in fact handle much more then what people thought it could.

Fast forward to today, August 26, 2019, about 2 and half years after Switch launched. Look at the library now. Over 2500 games, some of which people thought would never be possible on the system like Doom, Hellblade, Wolfenstein 2, Warframe, Witcher 3, Dragon Quest XI, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Mortal Kombat 11, etc. I'm not trying to say I told yall so

Anywho, you're absolutely correct, Switch does need to have new hardware come out if they want games from PS5 and Xbox Scarlett. Allegedly, they're working on a Switch Pro. Hopefully it'll use something more powerful then a Tegra X2, like a Tegra Orin, which has GPU performance closer to a 1050ti and a significantly more powerful CPU then the Tegra X1.

Also, if you’re an old school 90’s 2-D fighting game fan, you have a couple of SNK’s King of Fighters games on Eshop plus Ultra SF2 and the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary collection. SF3 Third Strike playable on the go is tons of fun.
