In this video, you will learn how to move disabled Active Directory users to another OU.

You probably have disabled Active Directory users in various organizational units. In medium to large Active Directory environments, it can be challenging to keep track of all the disabled accounts.

Fortunately, you can use tools like PowerShell and the AD Pro Toolkit to quickly find these accounts and move them to a specific OU. I prefer to create an OU called inactive or disabled and move the accounts into this OU.

There are system accounts such as krbtgt, Guest, and so on that are disabled by default, I would leave these accounts in their default OU.

With the AD Pro Toolkit, you can easily select specific disabled users and move them with the click of the button. It really takes the guess work out of AD user management. In addition to finding disabled users, you can use the built in filters to find expires users, users with no logon history and inactive users.
