Great video. Between the fact that you’re softly spoken and you camp in peaceful spots, your videos are very relaxing to watch. Thank you mate! 🦘🇦🇺🌏

Happy New Year Andy! I absolutely love watching your videos, really feels like we are there with ya. I never got to go camping as often as I wanted to and now due to health issues, looks like I never will, so watching you makes me virtually feel like I can and that means a lot so thank you!!! xx

thanks Andy! Nice tent for sure! I love the way it opened all the way up almost like a tarp overhead. Great for when weather is really nice.

A nice trick for fire baked potatoes that my mother (among others i am sure) came up with is to cut a wedge out of the potato, put in an appropriately sized onion slice, and spear the onion with a clove. Put a pat of butter somewhere on the potato, then wrap with foil, onion on top. Bake until cooked. The potato will get a lovely onion flavor, the butter will help fry the skin to a crispy deliciousness, and the clove will be there, but very subtle.

I fell in love with these cooked either in a fire, or on the charcoal grill. They need time to cook, so put them on first, and let them cook slowly. We'd usually put them on a half hour to 45 minutes before the rest of the meal, and at a relatively low heat. The size of the potato really determines the bake time and temperature.

Thanks Andy! I love to see the coziness of the inside of the tent and cot setup. I would need a zipped up floor for comfort. The blow up tent or truck tent look the most comfortable to me… carpeted and dry! ❤

I must say I'm not a fan of the tent but that wood stove looks a great performer for its weight. I love how you show the mishaps and accidents, in this game they happen often and other Youtubers hide this. It makes your videos real and genuine. Happy New Year Andy.

Make my breakfast two fried eggs, sunny side up and 4 sausages (I am really hungry!!!) and two pieces of toasted bread slices. Add a desert for dinner. I suggest a baked apple cored with brown sugar filler and butter on both ends (very easy to make) wrapped in aluminum foil and thrown into the fire for about 15 minutes (if I remember correctly). Campfire cooking & eating are among the best things that life has to offer. Talk about a stress reliever! Thanks again for another great video. And Happy New Year.
