Bunch voodoo tech nonsense. The DBS doesn’t even connected to the main current wires inside how does this make a difference? I have the cv6 with DBS 24v I used with the battery and Without the battery connected. Couldn’t tell the difference.

This video just popped up on my recommended list after watching the recent Audioholics video where Gene reviewed the $5K thunderbird zero cable and completely debunked this through testing. Seems like the battery actually creates MORE distortion than actually removes it.

I *OWN* a Audioquest Cougar with DBS and it's without a doubt my quietest tonearm cable. Background noise is literally non existent (zero Most of the comments here are made by people who haven't tried one, as usual.

I feel bad for music lovers who don't have transparent and revealing systems. That is not a put down. Until last year i didn't have one either. On my new system I clearly hear the differences. Yes, even with power cables. More importantly, my wife hears the differences in better cables so I get to keep them. What better endorsement can there be?

My theories:
1. Shane knows that these videos will cause a stir thus giving the channel more views and subs.
2. He decided the way to generate more money for the channel is to partner with manufacturers like Audioquest.
3. He's actually is hearing a difference with the Audioquest cables.
4. Shane wants to be the Anti Gene DellaSala on Youtube.

Anyone that doesn't hear a difference between the 72v DBS plugged in needs to stop spending money on audio. I know these cables are horribly overpriced but the difference between the pack plugged in and not is a lot. The hash or noise floor drops way down. I've blindfolded people and unplugged the battery packs and everyone could easily hear the difference. Audioquest didn't invent this. Vandersteen uses this pricincipal but a guy in New York discovered it. Running a small charge on the drain wire quiets the sound. I hate the cable because it's horribly overpriced but sounds incredible

Snake Oil and Horse Shit, this stuff only looks good on paper, non this crap makes and difference on the way your equipment performs, not only you cant even hear the difference, these power cords measure the same as a $10 cord

Audio Science Review channel on YouTube tested these cables in a scientific way and it shows this is snake oil. There is no any meaning of this system and the cable itself is even unshielded very ordinary cheap cable.
