I'm from the north of the UK and we don't really get high temperatures as we have hills on 3 sides then the North sea to the east of us so hot weather for us is maybe 25c for 2 days then rain... That happens a few times a year... The humidity is hard work ! Our winters are wet and the humidity is bad too... We have a log burner to try dry out the house and to dry clothing.. we also run 3 dehumidifiers to stop the walls running with Bleach in water rubbed on walls works a treat! Kills that black mould!

Pico is the best! im building a home in Santo Amaro and moving there from Canada in the very near future :)
