Apple and Google may be rivals in the tech world, but behind the scenes, they swap billions of dollars every single year. But as Apple continues building up its apps and services to enrich its ecosystem, it may be silently working to remove Google apps and services from every single Apple product. I will never buy an Apple product, if I can't get Android apps on it. YouTube Premium is a must for me, and it's also my prefered choice of streaming service for my music.

I have seen a few people say this already, but I agree with most that if they remove YouTube, I am gone. I am already thinking of switching. I am still with Apple because of the EcoSystem. But at some point, that won't be enough.

Google maps in my experience is still better than Apple maps. Searched Apple maps for a local area and it couldn't find it pointing to a location in another US State. The same search in Google maps and was located immediately...twenty miles away

The loss of YouTube alone might actually push me to Android and I'm all in on Apple right now.

I wouldn't mind a different search engine but I think if they kill YouTube they had better have a serious competitor first or it will be a big issue for them. YouTube is huge for people

It seems that Google really expanded their Pixel sales. If people cared much about privacy then TikTok would fail.

Does that mean all the Google apps will be removed from the App Store? I think some users will move to Android because of this if all Google Services are gone.

YouTube would be the only issue I can see. I don’t use google search as much anymore.

The main reason I use google maps is the "saved places" lists. I have thousands of saved places on my map. And also offline maps.

Can’t lie, if they ban google maps or youtube, I am GONE. It was one of the main reasons I couldn’t use windows phone, despite loving it.

This is exactly the opposite I heard a couple months ago when everyone was saying apple would allow the google play store to thrive on the Apple ecosystem

Dumping YouTube is not possible because it is used on Windows PCs as well. YouTube is more of an antitrust issue.

I use Google Drive extensively for my work, as many do, even though I mainly use Apple computers for work. iCloud is nowhere near as good, versatile nor compatible with other platforms as Google Drive is. I think this would be a dumb move.

No that’s impossible, I mean ask yourself if Apple creates a YouTube replacement then would you start from scratch on that ?
