In CS Sourse it looks more plausible. A person is not thrown back when shot. The bullet is tiny, it flies with great force, the pressure on the touch area is enormous, the bullet pierces the head to the brain, sometimes through, and its strength in either case will not be enough to move one person.

The Source one is the most realistic of all. Once a 7.62x39mm hits the hypothalamus, it's literally an ON/OFF switch to your body.

There are no body spasms, no muscular contractions. Just literally you're there then you're not.
