So glad you touched on the 90 degrees or more of knee angle right out of the gate. When I see someone who sits very low, I instantly think they probably suck. I'm sure there are some low sitters out there who are good, I just havent seen any.

My first kit was my dad's massive pearl export kit. Four crashes, ride, hats, China, three splashes. I was so thankful to start on a big kit. Now I have a 7 piece gretsch Catalina maple and it is absolutely great.

I started playing a normal 5 piece kit my father had. Then my grandfather had a Tama Imperial-star 7 piece kit with a lot of cymbals. Back then I wasn’t as of a great player and now that I’m actually better than I was before I still have the drum set and now I got a 5 piece gretsch Catalina maple with just a crash and a ride which I love, but I’m trying to buy my dream cymbal pack start to add more into my drum. I’ve changed my style of playing about 3 or 4 times with the gretsch 🤣. Now I just learned a few more tips, thanks man.

I have a 90 angle when I sit...and I still cant figure out why my right leg bothers me, esp near my hip area
