FYI: The running workouts I showed for the week (on each day) are just examples of this previous week's run programming. It changes week to week, however I usually have 2 "quality sessions" focused on speed/intensity and the remaining sessions are "easy runs".

Nick isn't just trying to qualify for Boston, he's trying to be the most jacked dude to qualify.

Nick’s drive is unreal. A couple years ago he ran 4+ hours on a marathon. Runners like myself were constantly in the comments telling him how to change his training and what to fix because he was so new to running as a sport. Now he is going to smash his Boston qualifying time and he is doing everything right. I hope everyone can understand how crazy it is to qualify for Boston a couple years after 4+ hr time at 200 lb. As long as he follows through, he really will smash his goal

I never stopped my weight training for my legs, I actually feel that my runs are better because of it. Not to mention my sprints. I do sprints 3x a week in between my runs. Great video! I love this channel!

“Easy 8 mile run” I’d consider a 6 miler a long run 😂

Brother don't roll the IT band will aggravate it further. The tightness is usually unrelated to the band and usually not glutes firing.

If you’re having ITB issues, try concentrating more on your TFL as that is more than likely the culprit of the issue 😉 Love your work Nick, am a big fan 🙌🏼

Came back here after a few years. Gotten down from @6ft 250 to 220 in the past few months. Taking it way more serious now but only have about 1.5 hrs a day after working 12 hrs. Great seeing some new exercises in your videos.

As a long distance trail runner I used to have a ton of issues with my IT band but after lots of "talks" with physicians and PTs I learned its not you IT band that is tight, its the Gluteus Medius, muscle. Quick google will give you good stretches for this small forgotten muscle and it will work wonders. As a PT told me, trying to stretch an IT band is like trying to stretch a 2" wide quarter inch thick leather belt - not gonna happen.

I started watching your videos a month or two ago. I saw one of your army videos and I enjoyed watching the video. I decided to watch more videos and I kept watching the videos of you running and the posts on your Instagram of you running pretty much everyday. I never really was active for the most of my life and since it was quarantine and I was getting bored. I decided to run consistently, and watching your videos helped.

I’m a cross country and distance track and field runner and I’ve been wanting to start weightlifting and strength training along with mobility. Thank you Nick and keep up the great work!

I’ve always wondered how you avoid injury or overtraining with so much exercise. Mobility must be a huge part of that.

Similar to your shoe comparison, would you make a video about the specifics of the new road bike and why you changed bikes
