you can use a kitchen green scouring pad and some wd40 to really get the metal clean and uniform looking

Using tape u could change layouts for each job

hi charlie, just ordered on ebay m10 rod and m10 wing nuts . rod 1m long . going to use on blakes profiles when blockwork is 1 block each way eg 450m and 550mm. rods cost £4 for 2 rods . pack of 10 wing nuts £4, cheaper than other stablisers for sale.

Mild steel or aluminium wich one would be best for profiles

Be useful in an ideal world(site), but unfortunately it’s not, how many brickies do you know that’s still got the gauge tape still on their profiles, not many because they gauge with a tape due to all types of discrepancies especially coming out of the ground on the footing, save you time and invest in a good rotating laser level, you can use it to set everything out you need to, and find high/low spots, start off right and 9/10 times you’ll be flying along..love your work and your enthusiasm by the
